Course overview

PHP programming is important because it interacts well with HTML codes and databases. HTML is the programming language of the internet, so a program interacting with it efficiently and seamlessly can help a lot of web developers design their programs, applications and websites. PHP is also important because it has a wide variety of uses, such as:

  • Adding and removing content from a webpage based on another source of data such as a database

  • Working with server-side files that user don't see

  • Collecting and processing data from end users

  • Creating log-in and registration pages to increase the security and applications of a website

  • Defining, accessing and running dynamic parts of a website such as transactions, subscriptions or authentication which change regularly.

  • How to build a full CRUD interface for creating, reading, updating, and deleting tours that we will show on our website

  • How to describe and test all the features you’ve built in this course using an automated test runner.
Requirements
  • Operating Systems: Windows 8, 8.1; Windows 10; Linux; Unix; Mac.
  • Hardware Environment Processor: x86 or x64; RAM : 512 MB (minimum), 1 GB (recommended); Hard disk: up to 200 MB of available space may be required. However, 50 MB free space is required in boot drive even if you are installing in other drive.
